Robert Stuart Middle School Booster Club

“Working with BRAX Fundraising resulted in the most successful fundraiser Robert Stuart Middle School Booster Club had conducted in 4 years. The Sample Cups sell themselves and BRAX has a great selection of NFL, MLB and college teams to choose from. The quality and designs encourage customers to buy products in all their favorite teams.

And, our BRAX Sales Representative and the Customer Care department made all the difference with this fundraiser. They returns calls and emails quickly. They made sure all the participants had Sample Cups and gave us lots of ideas to make our fundraiser as successful as it was – we sold 1,243 items and raised $9,011.75. I would not hesitate to run the BRAX Fundraising program again.”

– Jenny Melka, Vice President, Robert Stuart Middle School Booster Club

School Damaged by a Tornado Wins $1,000 for New Staff Lounge

GCMSPlease join us in congratulating Greene County Middle School on being selected in our $1,000 Teacher Appreciation drawing! Many schools were entered, but unfortunately only one could win. And luckily, it was Greene County Middle School.

Upon contacting them about their big win, we learned that their school was heavily damaged by a tornado that swept through eastern North Carolina in April 2011, forcing them to share facilities with Greene Central High School. Now, two years later, they’re finally preparing to move into their new building for the 2013-2014 school year. The $1,000 from BRAX Fundraising, according to the school’s band director, Joanne McGowan, couldn’t have come at a better time. To honor their teachers, Greene County Middle School is going to use this money for decorations and furnishings to “make their new Staff Lounge amazing”.

To participate in our Teacher Appreciation promotion and be entered in the drawing, Greene County Middle School signed up by March 31st to run a fundraiser to help pay for a band and chorus trip to Florida. “My students have been through a lot in the last two years because of the tornado that destroyed our school and the homes of several of my students. Our trip to Florida was made possible because of BRAX Fundraising,” said Joanne McGowan.

Fueling Schools to Make Healthy Improvements

FuelUpCups

In September, 2012 BRAX Fundraising made a big commitment to schools nationwide, vowing to help them raise funds to support their fitness and nutrition initiatives. In partnership with the National Football League (NFL) and the National Dairy Council’s Fuel Up to Play 60 initiative, they launched a new fundraising program called “Fuel Up Cups”. Since then, $170,000 has been raised, helping 127 Fuel Up to Play 60 schools achieve their fitness and/or nutrition initiatives. And they’ve only just begun…

With a 2013 goal of activating 2000 Fuel Up to Play 60 schools with Fuel Up Cups fundraisers and raising over $4 million, there will be many, many more success stories like these to come.

  • Bunnell Elementary School in Bunnell, FL raised $1,527 – built school and community gardens
  • Meeting House Hill School in New Fairfield, CT raised $1,774 –  implemented healthy food taste tests
  • South Mesa Elementary School in Pueblo, CO raised $4,388 –  started a running club
  • Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, FL raised $4,160 – funded an after school fitness program
  • Sandstone Elementary in Billings, MT raised $6,859 – bought PE and playground equipment
  • Twin Lakes High School in Monticello, IN raised $6,038 – introduced students to healthy, Latin American foods

Many Fuel Up to Play 60 schools receive funds to help make healthy improvements in their school communities, but there is always a greater need. With Fuel Up Cups, schools are able to engage students and parents in helping raise those additional funds.

To spearhead the program, BRAX Fundraising has appointed a dedicated FUTP 60 Relations Director, Jillian Burns, to work closely with all Regional Dairy Council representatives. Together, they promote the Fuel Up Cups fundraising program to Fuel Up to Play 60 schools through email communications, social media, envelope stuffers with funding checks from the Regional Dairy Councils and wellness focused conferences.  For more information on the Fuel Up Cups fundraising program, click here.

Sample Cups Proven to Substantially Increase Profits

Kid_with_sample

In a survey of BRAX Fundraising customers, organizations who armed their fundraising participants with Sample Cups substantially increased their profits, sometimes by as much as 75%. Why? Because nothing solidifies a sale like actually experiencing a product first-hand. Who wants to explain what makes BRAX Fundraising so great, when you can show them!

3D Designs – The cups have a three dimensional, holographic design that you have to see to appreciate.

High Quality – The cups are made out of heavy gauge, BPA-free, dishwasher safe plastic.

Team Affiliation – If you want to offer something that truly taps into the emotion of the sports fans in your community, pick your area’s favorite teams and the products will sell themselves.

So what does the Sample Cups program include?

    • No upfront costs
    • You pick your team design
    • Sample Cups come in packs of four (4) SpiritCups or two (2) SpiritTravelCups (recommended you provide each participant with one cup)
    • At the end of your fundraiser, we deduct from your total profit $6 per four (4) pack of sample SpiritCups or two (2) pack of sample SpiritTravelCups
    • Most importantly, Sample Cups have been proven to increase profits by as much as 75%.

“Though hesitant at first to invest in Sample Cups, it was the best money we ever spent. The costs came off our total profits and we still made $10,000. We never had such a good fundraiser.” - Chuck Meehan, Fundraising Organizer, Glens Falls Little League

Success Story: Caldwell Elementary

From Dyann Kemp, Caldwell Elementary

I signed my school up with BRAX Fundraising because the Physical Education department needed to raise a lot of money and we certainly did. Our fundraiser was a huge success! With only 150 students participating, we earned over $10,000.

Being from Texas, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M were our biggest sellers but everyone loved the cups. A lot of people bought them for birthday and Christmas gifts, which was a great idea. We raised enough money for our annual field day, lots of equipment, awards for kids, and more. This is a great program and I look forward to doing the BRAX fundraiser again next year!”

Success Story: Kaneland McDole Elementary

From Kris Luedtke, Kaneland McDole Elementary School

Thank you so much for all of your help with our Spring Fundraiser! I was expecting to sell one hundred or two hundred sets, but with your recommendation of using sample cups, we sold over a thousand. These cups sell themselves. I have had many parents call me to say how much they like the product. We were able to raise over $5,500 for our PTO, which will provide so many enhancements to our school’s programs. I can’t thank you enough for being so easy to work with – you bent over backwards to help us and made the experience so much easier.

Success Story: Barkstall Elementary

From Teri E., Barkstall Elementary

My elementary school participated in the BRAX SpiritCups fundraiser last spring and it was a huge success. With the money that we earned, we were able to purchase school T-shirts for all of our 450 students. We wore these proudly to a University of Illinois baseball game where the students were honored for all of the reading they had done during our Reading Week celebration. We also purchased new technology equipment for our classrooms. Not only teachers, but parents are asking if we will be doing this sale again this year. My response… why not, it was SO easy!
