We featured Glens Falls Little League back in September 2012 after they ran a highly successful fundraiser leveraging our sample cups in their sales efforts. Now we’re mentioning them again to highlight what that BRAX Fundraiser meant for the future of their league. With the $10,000 they raised they were able to reinstate Fall and Senior ball. That opens up a new age group to participation and a whole new season for Glens Falls youth. If that is not a case study for the power of a BRAX Fundraiser, I don’t know what is. Congratulations again Chuck Meehan and the Glens Falls Little League! We look forward to working with you again in the future.
We love to hear from our customers, particularly when their expectations are surpassed and they raise more money than anticipated. In recent correspondence from Chuck Meehan, fundraising organizer for Glens Falls Little League, he lets us know his thoughts on the value of the BRAX sample cup program and how it helped exceed their goals even with lower than expected participation.
“I wanted to tell you how pleased the Glens Falls Little League has been with our fundraiser this year. When we initially contacted your company to inquire about a SpiritCups fundraiser, you sent me a four-pack of sample cups. I brought the cups to a board meeting and while some board members were hesitant to invest several hundred dollars in additional sample cups (one for each of our 400 players to use as they sold in the community), it turns out this was the best $400 we never spent (since it came out of our overall profit at the end of the sale).”
Chuck continues, “We had 168 of our 400 players sell cups, which was very disappointing participation but we still sold $24,000 worth. The cups were selling themselves. Our Little League’s profit was $10,000. We’ve never had such a successful fundraiser.”
We hear it time and time again, with a sample cup in hand our participants raise more money. It’s why we encourage all our organizers to implement a sample cups program of their own.
If you have any questions about how the sample cups program works or anything related to our fundraising program, please give us a call at 888-825-9339. Our customer care team is more than happy to answer your questions.

This is a great fundraiser – we have done it two years in a row and for a team of 12 kids we have raised around $1,600+ in that time span. Both years, without this fundraiser we could not have gotten our uniforms. Thanks a lot. In this troubled economic time we could not find any sponsorships, and if not for this fundraiser, we would be playing in T-shirts that the parents would have had to pay for out of their own pockets. But thanks to this awesome fundraiser, we got the best looking uniforms around.

I just wanted to send you a note to let you know how thrilled our Little League is with the success of our fundraiser this year. When I first heard of the SpiritCups sales, I was skeptical. I called you on the phone, and you told me that the way to sell them is to show them. You mailed me a couple of sample cups to my home. My 11-year-old son and his friends were at the house when the cups arrived. They took one look at those cups and fell in love with them. At that point, I knew that this was going to be a successful fundraiser for our Little League.
I spoke with you again, and you convinced me that buying a sample cup to give each player to help them sell these cups was the way to go. Our Little League agreed to do that with the thought that even if we don’t make a lot of money, we are a least giving our kids a “gift” so to speak. The sample cups came and were distributed. I had no idea that we were going to sell as many as we did. I was hoping to just hit the 500 mark. Our Little League sold 1481 cup sets. We made a profit of $8,430.00. UNBELIEVABLE. You told me from the beginning that the cups sell themselves, and you were right. We are sponsoring a pizza party for our top selling team. The picture above is of the winning team. The winning team is 9/10 boys, Three Rivers Fire Department Boston Red Sox.

Brunswick Dixie Youth League – Southeast Region
We at Brunswick Dixie Youth League were very pleased with your fundraiser you provided. Those cups and popcorn buckets are awesome. It has been a big pleasure working with your staff also. The idea of samples per child at no charge until fundraiser was completed, caused us to have a home run selling this product. I think because these products are new to everyone caused each child to sell their allotment we had asked them to sell. We heard nothing but compliments from all involved. We generated almost double fundraising dollars this year, which we feel is very successful. We currently have 257 children playing at our park and fundraising isn’t always fun, but with this product it made it much easier. Thanks.

Wow. What a wonderful fundraiser. Our all-star baseball team needed to raise some funds. I had purchased a pack of cups from another boy about a year ago and when the cups arrived I thought to myself, “I wish I would have ordered more.” So when our team needed a fundraiser, I jumped all over the SpiritCups. I was a little worried with how successful it would be with only 12 boys selling cups. Well, the cups sold themselves – in just two weeks we were able to net $1800. What a success and what a wonderful, organized company to work with. The Hopewell Hurricanes thank you and look forward to selling more of your merchandise next year. Thank you for such a great product and company.

Our SpiritCups fundraiser was very successful. Our 10-year-old travel baseball team used the SpiritCups to help raise money to buy the boys new bat bags. Our team tries to keep costs of our travel ball reasonable, so we are always looking for fundraising ideas. A few of our parents had purchased SpiritCups before, and were very pleased with the product. After inquiring about SpiritCups, and realizing how easy it would be, we started our fundraiser. The cups really sell themselves, they look awesome and the quality is great. The BRAX staff was very helpful, and made the whole process run very smoothly. The boys are enjoying their new bags, thanks to SpiritCups.

Goodyear Little League
Goodyear Little League is only 4 years old and we have never done a “real” fundraiser. This is my first year in this league. I have experience with BRAX from a previous league so I suggested this fundraiser and have been in charge. What a success. Our league made well over $6000 profit. I cannot say enough good about this company. The quality of the cups is superior; they look like new even after several runs in the dishwasher and daily use (my original set is from 3 years ago). It was easy for me to pitch BRAX SpiritCups to our board. The sample cups are a big plus in selling to families that don’t know about the company. The cups sell themselves. We even had a contest for the winning team in each division and an overall winner in the league. The outcome was so much more than we expected. We are extremely happy with the fundraiser overall.
I do have to say that BRAX has the best customer service out there. From Shannon who was my first contact person when I was gathering my information, to Patrick who assisted when our order was first being put together, they make you feel like you are very important to their success. Top notch. We had some obstacles on our end and I have had a lot of contact with Portia (Acct. Dir.) and she is wonderful. She is so caring and understanding and just the sweetest person to talk to and work with. Portia is phenomenal. I am so grateful to her for all she has assisted me with. Thank you all for helping to make our fundraiser a big success. Especially for your top notch customer service.
